This high-quality Profibus L2 cable is designed for reliable data transmission in industrial automation systems. Construction and parameters

The cable is constructed with two cores of 0.22 mm² cross-section, made of stranded copper (class 2). The cores are insulated with polyethylene foam (PE), providing good electrical insulation. The cable has double shielding – aluminum foil and copper braid, which minimizes electromagnetic interference and ensures stable signal transmission. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.8 mm. Thanks to the construction with seven strands, the core is flexible and works well in movable connections.

Application and compliance with standards

The Profibus L2 cable is used in connections of devices in the Profibus system (L2-BUS). It meets the requirements of DIN 19245 T3 and EN 50170 standards, guaranteeing compatibility and safety of use. Additionally, the cable is flame retardant according to EN 50265-2-1. The operating temperature range is from -30°C to +80°C, allowing its use in various environmental conditions. This cable is particularly recommended for internal installations where high data transmission quality and resistance to interference are required.
