Special application silicone cable

This single-core silicone cable, manufactured by HELUKABEL, is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal solution in demanding industrial applications. This cable is particularly recommended where standard cabling fails – in the metallurgical, steel, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic industries. The halogen-free construction further increases safety, allowing use in power plants.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of flexible class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) stranded copper conductor, providing high mechanical strength and ease of installation. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – both in flexible mode (up to +180°C) and stationary mode (up to +180°C), as well as to low temperatures (down to -60°C). The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The cable is resistant to many chemical substances, such as oils, greases, alcohols, diluted acids and alkalis. The minimum bending radius is 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation and 6x for fixed installation.
