Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x0.75mm² orange 23409
Extreme application silicone cable
This single-core HELUTHERM SiF silicone cable, with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², is a reliable solution for installations requiring resistance to high and low temperatures. It is characterized by flexibility and a halogen-free construction, making it safe in many industrial and specialized applications. The orange insulation facilitates identification in installations.
Construction and properties
The cable is designed for demanding working conditions. Its flexible, stranded copper conductor, class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), ensures good conductivity and resistance to bending. Silicone insulation guarantees maintaining flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C in stationary operation, and even up to +180°C flexibly. The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards and has an IEC 60332-1-2 certificate confirming its flame retardancy.
Applications and benefits
This cable finds application in many industries, such as metallurgy, steelworks, aviation, shipyards, cement and ceramic industries, and power plants. Its resistance to oils, greases, alcohols and other chemicals makes it ideal for industrial environments. Halogen-free construction ensures safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. Thanks to its flexibility, installation is simple and quick, even in hard-to-reach places. A cross-section of 0.75 mm² is suitable for powering devices with low power consumption or as a signal cable in control systems. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.6 mm, which facilitates cable routing in tight spaces.
