Special application silicone cable
This purple, single-core HELUTHERM SiF cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² is a solution for demanding applications where standard cables fail. Made of copper with silicone insulation, it ensures reliable operation at extreme temperatures and in harsh industrial conditions. The cable is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to chemicals, making it an ideal choice for use in the metallurgical, steel, aerospace, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic industries. The halogen-free construction further increases safety.
Construction and properties
The cable is designed in accordance with DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards. The multi-strand flexible copper conductor, class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) provides good conductivity and easy installation. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – both in continuous operation (up to +180°C) and short-term loads. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 2.6 mm. The cable is also resistant to oils, greases and many chemicals. Additionally, it meets the requirements for the absence of harmful gas emissions during combustion (IEC 60332-1-2).
