Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM SiF cable features a solid construction. The multi-strand flexible copper conductor, class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), ensures good conductivity and resistance to bending. Silicone insulation guarantees high thermal and chemical resistance. The cable is designed for rated voltages of 300/500 V and has a cross-section of 0.75 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.6 mm.
It is worth noting the wide operating temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C in stationary mode and from -25°C to +180°C in flexible mode. Additionally, the cable is resistant to many chemical substances, such as oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, and diluted acids and alkalis. It meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire behavior and DIN VDE 0482-754-1/DIN EN 60754-1/IEC 60754-1 standard regarding halogen-free properties.
