High-temperature silicone wire – reliability in harsh conditions

The HELUTHERM SiF wire is a single-core silicone wire designed for operation in extreme temperatures. It is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who require reliability in demanding applications. This wire is used in the steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic industries, as well as in power plants.

Construction and properties

The wire construction is based on a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor of class 5, ensuring good conductivity and easy installation. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C in continuous operation and temporarily up to +200°C) and to oils, greases, acids and alkalis. The wire is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the emission of toxic substances in the event of a fire. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V. The outer diameter of the wire with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is approximately 3 mm.

The wire meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and standards PN-EN 60754-1 and PN-EN 60754-2 regarding halogen-free properties and standards PN-EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-2 regarding wire flammability.
