High-temperature silicone wire – reliability in harsh conditions

HELUTHERM SiF single-core wire, made of silicone, is a solution dedicated to applications requiring resistance to extreme temperatures and flexibility. This wire is widely used in various industries – steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic, as well as in power plants. The halogen-free construction increases safety of use.

Construction and properties

The wire is characterized by a multi-strand, flexible copper conductor (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), ensuring good conductivity and easy installation. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high and low temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C in stationary operation, and even up to +200°C for short periods. The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the minimum bending radius is 6x the wire diameter for fixed installation and 15x the diameter for flexible operation. The wire meets the PN-EN 60754-1 and PN-EN 60754-2 standards confirming its halogen-free properties.
