Construction and properties

The cable has a flexible, stranded copper core, tinned class 5, providing good conductivity and ease of installation. Silicone rubber insulation guarantees resistance to chemicals, oils and high temperatures. This makes the cable useful in many industries, such as metallurgy, aviation, cement plants or power plants. It is a particularly useful solution where standard cables fail due to prevailing conditions.

The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards and has a CE marking confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. Additionally, it complies with PN-EN 60754-1 and PN-EN 60754-2 standards regarding halogen-free properties and PN-EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-2 regarding flame retardancy.

Key features and applications

The cable is distinguished by a wide operating temperature range – it maintains its properties from -60°C to +180°C (stationary operation) and briefly up to +200°C. The stranded construction provides high flexibility, making it easy to route and install even in tight spaces. It also has chemical resistance to oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, acids, alkalis and ozone. The halogen-free construction minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation during a fire, increasing safety. It finds application in glass and ceramics plants, cement plants, power plants and the aviation industry. It is designed to operate at 300/500 V and its approximate outer diameter is 3 mm for a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The minimum bending radius for mobile installations is 15x the cable diameter, and for fixed installations – 6x the cable diameter.
