Extreme application silicone cable

This single-core silicone cable is a solution for installations requiring flexibility and resistance to high temperatures. The cable is designed in accordance with DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, which guarantees its reliability and safety. The blue insulation facilitates identification in the installation.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible, stranded copper conductor class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), providing good flexibility and resistance to bending. Silicone insulation provides resistance to extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C (stationary) and from -25°C to +180°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed laying and 15x the diameter for flexible operation. The cable has a conductor cross-section of 1 mm² and an approximate outer diameter of 2.7 mm.

Additionally, this cable is resistant to many chemical substances, including oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, plasticizers, diluted acids and alkalis, and oxidizing agents. It also has halogen-free properties (according to DIN VDE 0482-754-1/DIN EN 60754-1/IEC 60754-1) and meets the requirements for flame propagation resistance (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2).
