Special application silicone cable

This flexible single-core cable, manufactured with silicone technology, is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It is perfect for applications where standard cabling fails – both in low and very high temperatures. The cable is characterized by high chemical and mechanical resistance, making it reliable in demanding industrial applications.

Construction and properties

The HELUTHERM SiF 1x10mm² cable features a construction that ensures long-lasting and safe operation. The multi-strand, flexible copper core (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) provides good conductivity and easy installation. Silicone rubber insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C in stationary operation and temporarily up to +200°C) and a wide operating temperature range from -60°C to +180°C. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, increasing safety and minimizing the emission of toxic substances in the event of a fire (compliant with DIN VDE 0482-754-1/ DIN EN 60754-1/IEC 60754-1 standards). The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V.
