Silicone cable for demanding conditions
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. It features high resistance to chemical and mechanical factors, making it an ideal choice for applications in many industries. Made of copper, it provides reliable conductivity and long-lasting operation.
Construction and properties
This cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, guaranteeing its safety and quality. The multi-strand flexible copper conductor class 5 ensures flexibility and ease of installation. Silicone insulation provides resistance to high temperatures – both in flexible operation (from -25°C to +180°C) and stationary (from -60°C to +180°C). This makes the cable suitable for applications exposed to extreme temperatures, e.g. in the metallurgical or aerospace industry.
Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in case of fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. It is also resistant to oils, greases, diluted acids, alkalis and many other chemicals. The minimum bending radius (15x cable diameter for flexible operation and 6x for stationary) facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V.
