Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x10mm² brown 24604
Special application silicone wire
This brown, single-core wire, made of copper, is designed to operate in harsh conditions requiring resistance to high temperatures. The wire is characterized by its flexibility and halogen-free construction, making it safe for industrial and power plant applications. It is an ideal solution where standard wires fail.
Construction and properties
The wire is designed for reliability and durability. The multi-strand flexible copper conductor, class 5, provides good flexibility and resistance to bending. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C in stationary operation, and even briefly up to +200°C. Additionally, the insulation material is resistant to many chemical substances, including oils, greases, and diluted acids and alkalis. The wire meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 regarding flame retardancy and PN-EN 60754-1 and PN-EN 60754-2 confirming its halogen-free properties.
Applications and benefits
The wire finds wide application in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It will also be useful in lighting installations and power plants. Its flexibility makes it easy to install even in tight spaces. The halogen-free construction increases safety, minimizing the risk of toxic gases during a fire. Thanks to its high chemical resistance, the wire can be used in environments exposed to aggressive substances. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V, allowing for a wide range of electrical applications. The outer diameter of the wire is approximately 6.9 mm for a cross-section of 10mm².
