Extreme application silicone cable
This black, single-core HELUKABEL SiF silicone cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a solution for installations requiring flexibility and resistance to high temperatures. The cable is designed for demanding operating conditions where standard cabling fails. Its construction and materials ensure reliable operation in a wide range of temperatures and aggressive environments.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor of class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), which ensures high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – both in continuous operation (up to +180°C) and short-term loads (up to +180°C). The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The minimum bending radius is 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation and 6x for fixed laying. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic gases.
Chemical resistance: Exhibits resistance to oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, plasticizers, diluted acids and alkalis, and salt solutions.
Safety: Meets DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2 standards for flame propagation resistance and DIN VDE 0482-754-1/DIN EN 60754-1/IEC 60754-1 regarding halogen-free properties.
Flexibility: The construction with a class 5 multi-strand core provides exceptional flexibility, making it easier to install and route cables in tight spaces.
Durability: Silicone insulation retains its properties even in extreme temperature and chemical conditions.
