Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x2.5mm² white 23705
Silicone wire for demanding applications
This single-core silicone wire is a reliable solution for electrical installations where resistance to extreme temperatures and flexibility are key. The wire is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C continuously, and even up to +180°C flexibly. Made of copper, with a multi-strand class 5 core, it provides good conductivity and easy installation.
Construction and properties
The wire is characterized by silicone insulation, which provides not only thermal resistance but also high flexibility. The outer diameter of the wire is approximately 3.6 mm with a cross-section of 2.5 mm². The rated voltage is 300/500V, making it suitable for many industrial and commercial applications. Additionally, the wire is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire behavior.
Application and benefits
The wire is widely used in various industries, such as: steelworks, metallurgy, aviation, shipyards, cement and ceramic industries. It can also be used in power plants due to its halogen-free properties. Its resistance to chemical factors – oils, greases, alcohols, acids and alkalis – expands the range of possible applications. The flexibility of the wire makes installation easier even in hard-to-reach places. The minimum bending radius is 6x the wire diameter for fixed laying and 15x the wire diameter for flexible operation.
