High-temperature silicone wire – reliability in demanding conditions
This single-core silicone wire is a solution for installations where standard wires fail. Designed to operate in extreme temperatures, it performs well in both industry and specialized applications. Made of copper with silicone insulation, it provides stable electrical parameters and mechanical strength.
Construction and properties
The wire is constructed of a multi-strand, flexible tinned copper conductor, class 5, ensuring good conductivity and corrosion resistance. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C continuously and briefly up to +200°C) and to oils, greases, acids and alkalis. Additionally, the wire is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. The rated voltage U/Uo is 300/500 V. The wire meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
