Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x6mm² white 23905
Silicone cable for demanding conditions
This single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for both professionals and end-users who need a reliable solution.
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, guaranteeing safety and high quality workmanship.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductor with a cross-section of 6 mm², providing good conductivity and flexibility. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high and low temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C in stationary operation, and even up to +180°C in flexible operation. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in case of fire (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). The cable construction ensures a minimum bending radius of 6x the cable diameter for fixed installation and 15x the cable diameter during flexible operation.
Applications
This cable finds wide application in various industries where resistance to extreme temperatures and chemicals is required. It will be useful in:
- Steel and metallurgical industry
- Aerospace industry
- Shipbuilding industry
- Cement and ceramic industry
- Power plants
- Heating installations
- Devices exposed to high temperatures
Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, diluted acids, alkalis and many other chemicals. This makes it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.5 mm.
