Silicone cable for harsh conditions

This single-core silicone cable is designed for applications requiring resistance to extreme temperatures and flexibility. It is ideal for industrial installations where standard cables fail. Made of copper with silicone insulation, it provides a reliable connection even in the most demanding environments.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed in accordance with DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards. The multi-strand flexible copper conductor class 5 ensures good flexibility and ease of installation. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – both in stationary operation (up to +180°C) and flexible operation (up to +180°C), as well as to low temperatures (down to -60°C). Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic gases. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V.

Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, diluted acids, alkalis and many other chemicals. The minimum bending radius is 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation and 6x the diameter for fixed installation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.5 mm for a cross-section of 6 mm².
