This multi-core HELUTHERM SiHF cable, manufactured by HELUKABEL, is designed for applications requiring high thermal resistance and flexibility. With a cross-section of 4 mm² and four cores, this cable is ideal for situations where standard cabling fails – in metallurgical plants, power plants, shipyards or cement plants. Its construction ensures reliable operation even in extreme temperatures.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by silicone insulation, which guarantees resistance to temperatures from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). The stranded copper cores, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, ensure good conductivity and flexibility. Core color coding according to DIN VDE 0293-308 facilitates identification. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it releases minimal amounts of toxic gases during combustion. The use of a special silicone outer jacket further protects the cable from external factors.
