Single-core silicone cable, high temperature resistant SiF 1x120mm² black 23957
Extreme application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in demanding conditions where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by high temperature resistance and is ideal for industrial applications where it is exposed to extreme heat or cold. Made of tinned, stranded flexible class 5 copper wire, it provides a reliable connection and long-lasting operation.
Construction and properties
The cable has silicone insulation, which gives it exceptional flexibility even at low temperatures. It is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. The cable construction meets DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, guaranteeing high quality and compliance with European standards. The copper wire is tinned to increase corrosion resistance. The cable is also resistant to oils, greases, diluted acids, alkalis and many other chemicals.
Applications and benefits
The cable is widely used in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Halogen-free properties make it particularly recommended for installation in power plants. Thanks to the wide range of operating temperatures (flexible from -60°C to +180°C, stationary from -25°C to +180°C) it can be used in extreme environmental conditions. The minimum bending radius (15x cable diameter for flexible operation and 6x for fixed) makes installation easy even in tight spaces. The conductor cross-section of 120 mm² allows for the transmission of large currents. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V and the test voltage is 2000V.
