Single-core silicone cable, high temperature resistant SiF 1x50mm² black 23954
Extreme application silicone wire
This flexible, single-core silicone wire is designed to operate in a wide range of temperatures, both low and high. It features high resistance to external factors and is used in demanding industrial conditions. It is an ideal solution where standard wires fail.
Construction and properties
The wire is made of a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor of class 5, which ensures high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees the preservation of properties in extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C for stationary operation and from -25°C to +180°C for flexible operation. Additionally, the wire is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – in accordance with IEC 60332-1-2 standard. This means it meets stringent fire protection requirements.
Applications and benefits
This wire is widely used in various industries, such as: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Halogen-free properties also make it suitable for installation in power plants. Its resistance to oils, greases, acids and other chemicals allows it to be used in harsh environmental conditions. The minimum bending radius (15x wire diameter for flexible operation and 6x for fixed) makes it easy to install even in tight spaces. The wire is also characterized by high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V and the conductor cross-section is 50 mm². The outer diameter is approximately 12.2 mm and the weight of 1 meter is 0.56 kg.
