This single-core silicone wire is a solution for installations requiring resistance to extreme temperatures and flexibility. Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM SiF wire has been designed for demanding industrial applications. Its construction based on Class 5 copper strands (flexible multi-strand) guarantees high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during frequent bending. Silicone insulation provides not only excellent dielectric properties but also resistance to high temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C in stationary operation, and even up to +180°C in flexible mode. Additionally, the wire is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic substances.
The wire has a rated voltage of 300/500V and a core cross-section of 0.5 mm², making it suitable for many applications. The outer diameter of the wire is approximately 2.3 mm, which facilitates its installation and routing in tight spaces. It is resistant to oils, greases, diluted acids and alkalis, which expands the range of its applications in various industrial environments.
