Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x25mm² yellow-green 24813
Silicone cable for demanding conditions
This single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. It is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to chemicals, making it an ideal solution in many applications. This cable is particularly valued in industries such as metallurgy, steelworks, aerospace, shipyards, cement and ceramic industries, as well as in power plants.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of flexible class 5 stranded copper conductor (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), providing high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – both in stationary operation (up to +180°C) and flexible operation (up to +180°C). Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the emission of toxic substances in the event of a fire (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). It should be noted that prolonged exposure to temperatures above +90°C may affect the properties of silicone.
Application and parameters
This cable is used where high thermal and chemical resistance is required. It will be suitable for industrial installations, heating devices, furnaces and anywhere where standard cables do not meet the requirements. The cable has a rated voltage of 300/500 V and a conductor cross-section of 25 mm², allowing for the transmission of significant currents. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.5 mm. It is resistant to the action of oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, diluted acids and alkalis, and many other chemicals.
