Extreme applications silicone wire

This flexible, single-core silicone wire is designed to operate in demanding temperature conditions. It is characterized by high heat and low temperature resistance, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of industrial applications. Made of tinned copper, flexible stranded class 5, it provides reliability and long-lasting operation.

Construction and properties

The wire has silicone insulation, which guarantees its flexibility even at extreme temperatures. It is a halogen-free wire, meeting the IEC 60332-1-2 standard in terms of fire resistance. This minimizes the risk of toxic gases forming in the event of a fire. Additionally, it is resistant to many chemicals, such as oils, greases, alcohols, diluted acids and alkalis. The outer diameter of the wire is approximately 14 mm with a cross-section of 70 mm². The weight of one meter is approximately 0.766 kg.

Remember to follow the manufacturer's recommendation regarding ventilation in stationary installations – prolonged exposure to temperatures above +90°C may affect the properties of the silicone. The wire is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 300/500V and a test voltage of 2000V with a minimum breakdown of 5000V.
