High-voltage neon cable – reliability and flexibility
This blue FZ-LSI 1x1 neon cable with a voltage of 8kV is an excellent solution for a wide range of applications requiring high temperature and mechanical damage resistance. The cable is characterized by a flexible construction and is ideal for both automotive industry installations and applications requiring operation in harsh conditions.
Construction and properties
The FZ-LSI cable is designed for durability and safety. It has a single copper core, stranded and multi-wire, which ensures flexibility during installation. Silicone insulation 2GI1 (compliant with DIN VDE 0207 part 20) guarantees high temperature resistance – up to 180°C. Additionally, a glass fiber braid and an external silicone coating 2GM1 (DIN VDE 0207 part 21) effectively protect against mechanical damage. The blue color of the coating makes it easier to identify the cable in the installation.
Application and benefits
The FZ-LSI cable is used wherever high temperature resistance and connection reliability are required. Thanks to its properties, it works perfectly in:
- Automotive industry: resistance to high temperatures in the engine compartment.
- Industrial applications: everywhere where extreme working conditions occur.
- Installations requiring flexibility: easy routing and connection thanks to the stranded core construction.
- High voltage applications: designed to operate at a rated voltage of 8kV (test voltage 20kV, breakthrough minimum 30kV).
Additionally, the 1 mm² core cross-section provides adequate conductivity for many applications, and the outer diameter of 7.5 mm makes it easier to install in tight spaces. The cable meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire behavior.
