Control and power cable for demanding applications

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable is a flexible PVC cable designed for use in medium-mechanically stressed power and control installations. It is suitable for both dry and humid or wet environments, as well as for direct laying in the ground or in pipes. This cable is particularly recommended for industrial machines, conveyor systems, air conditioning units and industrial automation. Thanks to its special construction and materials, it is perfectly suited for powering mobile and portable devices, as well as in stage and lighting applications.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of high-quality materials, guaranteeing its reliability and durability. Copper conductors of class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295) provide good conductivity, and XLPE insulation type DIX 3 (compliant with UNE HD 603-1) provides high resistance to electrical damage. The outer jacket made of special PVC type DMV-18 (UNE HD603-1) protects the cable from external factors such as UV radiation and oils. Conductor identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 for cables with up to 5 conductors and EN 50334 for cables with a larger number of conductors. This cable is characterized by high flexibility, which facilitates its installation and routing in tight spaces. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4x - 6x diameter for stationary operation (depending on cable diameter).
