Control and power cable for demanding applications

This flexible HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K 5G10 mm² control and power cable is a solid solution for both professional installers and end users. The cable is designed for operation in moderately mechanically stressed installations, both indoors and outdoors – in dry, humid and wet conditions. The possibility of direct laying in the ground or in pipes increases its versatility.

This cable finds application in many industries: from mechanical engineering and conveyor systems, through air conditioning and industrial automation, to stage and lighting applications. It will be suitable as a power or control cable, especially where resistance to higher temperatures and voltages is required. Made of high-quality materials, and its outer jacket made of special PVC provides resistance to UV radiation, making it ideal for use with mobile devices and machinery.

Construction and properties

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable is characterized by a 3+1/2 construction according to UNE 21123-2 standard. It has five core conductors with a cross-section of 10 mm², which allows for the transmission of adequate power. The core insulation is made of XLPE type DIX 3, providing high electrical strength. The cores are color-coded according to PN-HD 308 S2 (up to 5 cores) or coded according to EN 50334 (above 5 cores). Additionally, the cable has a protective conductor.

• Wide operating temperature range: flexible from -5°C to +90°C and stationary from -15°C to +90°C – ensures reliable operation in various environmental conditions.
• Operating voltage: 0.6/1kV – enables use in installations with different rated voltages.
• UV resistance: thanks to the special PVC, the outer jacket is resistant to sunlight, which extends the life of the cable in outdoor applications.
• Oil resistance: increases the durability of the cable in environments exposed to contact with oils.
• No harmful substances: materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
• Fire reaction class: Eca – meets the requirements for fire safety.
• Minimum bending radius: flexible 10 x cable diameter; stationary: up to 25 mm: 4 x cable diameter; 25 - 50 mm: 5 x cable diameter; above 50 mm: 6x cable diameter – facilitates installation and laying of the cable even in tight spaces.
