Control and power cable for demanding applications

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K 5G16 mm² cable is a versatile solution for flexible power and control connections, designed for medium mechanical load. The cable construction, compliant with UNE 21123-2 standard, ensures reliability and safety in various conditions. It performs excellently in both indoor and outdoor installations, in dry, humid and wet environments. The possibility of direct laying in the ground and in pipes further increases its versatility.

Construction and properties for professionals

This cable is characterized by un-tinned, multi-strand flexible copper conductors class 5 (DIN VDE 0295 / IEC 60228) insulated with XLPE (UNE-HD 603-1). The conductors are twisted in layers with an optimal core twist, ensuring flexibility and ease of installation. The outer jacket made of PVC (UNE HD 603-1) guarantees resistance to UV radiation and mechanical damage. The cable is available with a yellow-green protective conductor (G) or without it (X), and the conductor color scheme complies with DIN VDE 0293-308. The maximum permissible operating temperature on the conductor is +90°C, and during short circuit +250°C (for 5 seconds). Operating voltage AC U0/U is 600/1000 V.

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable finds application in many industries: mechanical engineering, conveyor systems, air conditioning units, industrial automation. It will work as a power or control cable where higher temperature and/or voltage are required. Thanks to its UV resistance, it is ideal as a connection cable for mobile or portable devices and machines. It can also be used in stage and lighting applications. The minimum bending radius is 4x cable diameter for diameters below 25mm, 5x for diameters between 25 and 50mm and 6x for diameters above 50mm.
