Single-core halogen-free cable for special applications

This black, single-core HELUTHERM® 145 cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is designed for demanding applications where high temperature resistance and fire safety are crucial. Made of tinned copper, it has an insulation made of cross-linked polyethylene, which ensures reliability and long-term operation. This cable is characterized by its flexibility thanks to its construction with a multi-strand flexible core (class 5).

Application and properties

This cable is widely used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electric machines, and in the construction of surface, concealed and in-wall installations. It is ideal for industrial environments and anywhere where high resistance to external factors is required. It can be used in protective conduits at voltages up to 1000V AC or 750V DC. In rail vehicles, a DC load of up to 900V is permissible.

A key feature of the HELUTHERM® 145 cable is its halogen-free construction. In the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases and fumes, which significantly increases evacuation safety. In addition, the materials used in production are free of cadmium and substances harmful to paints. The cable is resistant to oil, UV radiation, ozone and weather conditions – making it an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Construction and parameters

The cable is characterized by an approximate outer diameter of 2.1 mm and a rated voltage U0/U of 300/500 V. It withstands a voltage test at a level of 3500 V. The minimum bending radius for flexible cables is 8x the outer diameter, and for fixed cables – 4x the outer diameter.
