Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 145 1x0.75 mm² brown 51297
Single-core halogen-free cable resistant to high temperature
This brown HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable, with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², is designed for demanding applications where temperature resistance and fire safety are crucial. It is an electron-beam crosslinked flexible cable, characterized by beneficial properties in case of fire – it does not spread flames and does not emit toxic gases.
Construction and properties
This cable stands out with its careful construction. Copper conductors are annealed according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 or IEC 60228 class 5 standards, ensuring good conductivity and durability. The conductor insulation is made of crosslinked polyolefin copolymer, guaranteeing high resistance to mechanical damage, oils and weather conditions. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV and ozone radiation. It is worth noting that the materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, making it more environmentally friendly.
Applications and operating parameters
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is widely used in wiring lighting fixtures, heating devices, electric machines (temperature class B), distribution boards, and in the construction of machines and concealed, surface and in-wall installations. It can be used in conduit with a nominal voltage of up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC – and even up to 900V DC in rail vehicles. The operating temperature range is wide: flexible from -35°C to +120°C and stationary from -55°C to +145°C. The test voltage is 3500 V. The minimum bending radius is 8x the outer diameter for flexible laying and 4x for stationary laying. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.4 mm.
Additional information:
- The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire behavior.
- It is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
- Thanks to electron beam crosslinking, the insulation is resistant to melting even when in contact with a soldering iron (up to 380°C).
- High temperature load capacity potentially allows for a reduction in cable cross-section under certain conditions – it is worth consulting with an installation designer.
