This black, single-core HELUTHERM® 145 cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is a reliable solution for wiring in demanding conditions. Designed for safety and durability, it is ideal for both industrial and residential installations. Its construction based on high-quality materials ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a tinned, stranded copper conductor (class 5), which provides flexibility and ease of installation. The cross-linked polyethylene (XLPO) insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – up to +120°C in flexible operation and up to +145°C in fixed installation. Importantly, the cable is halogen-free, meaning it does not release toxic gases and smoke in the event of a fire, increasing user safety. In addition, the insulation material is resistant to UV radiation, ozone, and the action of oils and lubricants.
Applications and benefits
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is widely used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electric machines, and switchgear. It will also be useful in the construction of machines and concealed, surface and flush-mounted installations. The possibility of use in conduit with a voltage of up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC expands its range of applications. Thanks to its high temperature resistance, it is possible in some situations to use cables with a smaller cross-section – which can generate savings. This cable is particularly recommended where high fire safety standards and reliable operation in difficult environmental conditions are required. The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and in fixed installation it can be increased to 450/750 V or even 600/1000 V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3.1 mm.
