Single-core halogen-free cable for applications requiring high temperatureThis brown single-core HELUTHERM® 145 cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is designed for safety and reliability in demanding applications. It is characterized by high temperature resistance and flame retardant properties, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users. Made of tinned copper, it has cross-linked polyethylene insulation, ensuring long-lasting and safe operation.
Construction and properties
This cable features a flexible stranded construction (class 5), making it easy to install and route in tight spaces. The use of halogen-free materials minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, increasing evacuation safety. In addition, resistance to UV and ozone radiation ensures that the cable retains its properties even in harsh environmental conditions. The ability to solder without damaging the insulation (temperature resistance up to 380°C) is another advantage that facilitates installation.
Applications and benefits
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is widely used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines and distribution boards. It will also be useful in the construction of machines and concealed, surface and duct installations. Thanks to its high temperature load capacity (up to +145°C with fixed installation), it is possible to use cables with a smaller cross-section, which allows for cost optimization. The cable meets the standards HD 606 and BS 7622, guaranteeing compliance with safety requirements. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V up to 1 mm² and 450/750 V from 1.5 mm², and when laid in protective conduits, it can operate at a voltage of up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3.1 mm.
