Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures
This flexible, electron-beam cross-linked single-core cable HELUTHERM® 145 is designed for demanding applications where temperature resistance and fire safety are crucial. Made of oxygen-free copper, tinned, with insulation made of cross-linked polyolefin copolymer, it provides reliable operation in a wide temperature range. This cable is particularly recommended for wiring lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines, and in machine and installation construction.
Construction and application
The cable is characterized by a construction with a single stranded wire (class 5), which gives it high flexibility and ease of installation. The halogen-free insulation minimizes the risk of toxic gases during a fire, increasing user safety. It can be used in both fixed (in conduit) and flexible installations. In conduits, a voltage of up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC is permissible. In rail vehicles, it can operate at a DC voltage of up to 900V.
