Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 145 1x1 mm² black 51309

Highly temperature-resistant halogen-free single-core cable

This black, single-core HELUTHERM® 145 cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² is designed for demanding applications where high temperature resistance and fire safety are crucial. The cable features a flexible construction, making it easy to install and route in various installations. It is electron-beam cross-linked, which translates to its durability and reliability.

Construction and properties

The cable has multi-strand copper conductors (class 5) that provide good flexibility and resistance to bending. The insulation is made of cross-linked polyolefin copolymer, which guarantees high temperature resistance and halogen-free properties – in the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases, increasing user safety. The cable is also resistant to oils, UV radiation and weather conditions, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors. The use of electron-beam cross-linking technology makes the insulation resistant to contact with a soldering iron up to 380°C.

Applications and benefits

The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is widely used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines (thermal class B), distribution boards and in the construction of machines and surface, concealed and in-wall installations. It can be used in conduit tubes at voltages up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC. Thanks to its properties, this cable is particularly recommended for applications requiring high fire safety – e.g. in public places or industrial facilities. It is worth remembering that the high temperature load capacity may allow the use of a cable with a smaller cross-section under certain conditions – however, this should always be consulted with appropriate standards and calculations. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V for cross-sections up to 1 mm², and from 1.5 mm² – 450/750 V (when laid permanently in conduit tubes).
