Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperaturesThis brown HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² is a flexible and reliable solution for a wide range of electrical applications. Made of oxygen-free copper, tinned, it provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable is characterized by high thermal resistance and flame retardant properties, making it a safe choice in demanding installations.
Construction and properties
The cable is designed for durability and safety. The copper core is manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards, guaranteeing its high quality. The cross-linked polyolefin copolymer insulation provides resistance to external factors such as oils, UV radiation and ozone. In addition, the cable is halogen-free, which means that in the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases and fumes – important for the safety of users and facilitating evacuation. High operating temperature – up to +145°C (for stationary installation) – allows for use in harsh industrial conditions.
Applications and benefits
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines and switchgear. It is ideal for concealed, surface and flush-mounted installations, as well as in rail vehicles (up to 900V DC). Thanks to its properties, it is also suitable for outdoor applications. Its flexibility makes it easy to install even in tight spaces. The use of electron-beam cross-linked insulating material increases resistance to mechanical and thermal damage, and also ensures stable parameters over time. It is worth mentioning its resistance to soldering temperature (up to 380°C), which is particularly important when connecting electronic components. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, and the outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.7 mm.
