Single-core halogen-free wire with high temperature resistance

This green HELUTHERM® 145 single-core wire, with a cross-section of 1 mm², is a reliable solution for installations requiring safety and resistance to extreme conditions. Made of tinned copper, with a cross-linked polyolefin copolymer insulation, it ensures long-lasting and safe operation. The wire is characterized by high flexibility thanks to the multi-strand wire construction (class 5), which facilitates installation even in tight spaces.

Construction and properties

The wire was designed with safety and minimizing fire risk in mind. The use of halogen-free materials means that in the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases and fumes, which is crucial for protecting health and life. In addition, the insulation is resistant to UV radiation, ozone and oils, guaranteeing durability even in harsh environmental conditions. Electronic crosslinking of the insulation increases its resistance to mechanical damage and soldering temperature (up to 380°C). Designed to operate in a temperature range from -35°C to +120°C (flexible) and from -55°C to +145°C (stationary), it will perform well in a wide range of applications. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V.

Applications and benefits

The HELUTHERM® 145 wire is used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines and switchboards. It is ideal for concealed, surface and in-wall installations, as well as in rail vehicles (up to 900V DC). Thanks to its properties, it works perfectly in places exposed to high temperatures or requiring special care for fire safety. Its flexibility makes it easy to route cables in tight spaces, and resistance to external factors ensures long-term reliability. The minimum bending radius is 12.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. The wire meets the requirements of the CE standard and has the approval of Germanischer Lloyd.
