Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 145 1x1 mm² orange 51317

Single-core halogen-free cable for special applications

This orange HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² combines flexibility, high-temperature resistance, and safety resulting from the absence of halogen in the insulation. It is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users looking for reliable and safe cabling.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction with a multi-strand, flexible copper core (class 5), ensuring good flexibility during installation. The insulation is made of a cross-linked polyolefin copolymer, which guarantees high temperature resistance and flame-retardant properties. The cable is electron-beam cross-linked, which further increases its strength and resistance to mechanical damage. It is worth noting the absence of halogen in the composition – in the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases, which is crucial for safety.

Applications and benefits

The HELUTHERM® 145 cable finds wide application in various areas:

  • Wiring of lighting fixtures: Safety and temperature resistance make it ideal for this purpose.
  • Heating devices: Temperature resistance allows it to be used in heating appliances.
  • Electrical machines (thermal class B): Provides reliable connections in demanding working conditions.
  • Distribution boards: Safety and durability are key in this type of installation.
  • Surface, concealed and duct installations: Flexibility makes it easy to install in various configurations.
  • Railway vehicles: Can be used at DC voltage up to 900V (in railway vehicles).

Additional advantages include:

  • UV resistance: Can be used outdoors without fear of material degradation.
  • Wide operating temperature range: From -55°C to +145°C (depending on the method of laying).
  • Reduced flame propagation: Increases the fire safety of installations.
  • Silicone and cadmium free: Environmentally friendly and safe for health.
  • Abrasion and oil resistance: Ensures long-term reliability even in harsh operating conditions.

This cable meets the standards IEC 60332-1-2 and DIN VDE 0482-332-3-22, which confirms its high quality and safety of use. The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 2.7 mm. Thanks to this, the cable is easy to install and adapts to most standard connectors and accessories.
