Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 145 1x1 mm² red 51312

Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures

This red HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable, with a cross-section of 1 mm², is a reliable solution for applications requiring high thermal resistance and fire safety. The cable is designed for a wide range of electrical installations, both in construction and industry.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a stranded construction (class 5), which provides flexibility and facilitates installation. The copper core is made of tinned material, which affects its conductivity and durability. The cross-linked polyolefin copolymer insulation is halogen-free, meaning that it does not release toxic gases and fumes in the event of a fire – important for user safety and ease of evacuation. Additionally, the insulation is resistant to high temperatures, allowing the cable to operate in harsh conditions.

This cable also features good resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils, and atmospheric factors and UV radiation. It can be used in a temperature range from -55°C to +145°C (stationary) and from -35°C to +120°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 300/500 V. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 12.5 x cable diameter, and for stationary operation – 4 x cable diameter.

Applications and benefits

The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines (thermal class B), switchboards, and in the construction of machines and concealed, surface and embedded installations. It is particularly recommended for places exposed to elevated temperatures or requiring special fire safety precautions. The possibility of use in protective conduits with voltages up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC expands its range of applications. In rail vehicles, it can operate at a DC voltage of up to 900V.

  • Safety: Halogen-free construction minimizes the risk of poisoning during a fire and facilitates evacuation.
  • Durability: Resistance to high temperatures and external factors ensures long-term reliability.
  • Flexibility: Stranded construction facilitates installation even in tight spaces.
  • Versatility: Wide range of applications – from lighting wiring to industrial machinery.
  • Compliance with standards: The product meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and has a Germanischer Lloyd certificate.
  • Soldering resistance: The insulation is resistant to melting even when in contact with a soldering iron at temperatures up to 380°C – useful when servicing installations.
