Single-core halogen-free high-temperature resistant cable
This flexible single-core cable HELUTHERM® 145, with a cross-section of 1 mm², is designed for demanding applications where temperature resistance and fire safety are crucial. Made of tinned copper, insulated with a polyolefin copolymer, it provides reliable conductivity and long-lasting operation. The cable is also characterized by low emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, which increases the safety of users and facilitates evacuation.
Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable stands out with its careful construction, ensuring optimal electrical and mechanical parameters. The copper cores are stranded and flexible (class 5), which facilitates installation and provides resistance to material fatigue. The insulation made of cross-linked polyolefin copolymer guarantees high resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which means that in the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases and fumes – important for protecting health and the environment.
Applications and benefits
This cable is widely used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines (thermal class B), distribution boards and in the construction of concealed, surface and flush-mounted installations. Thanks to its high temperature resistance (up to +145°C in stationary installations and up to +120°C in flexible installations), it can be used in difficult working conditions. The possibility of use in protective conduits with a voltage of up to 1000V AC or 750V DC expands its range of applications. Thanks to reduced fire propagation and the absence of corrosive substance emissions, the cable meets high safety standards. This is particularly important in public and industrial places where fire protection requirements are very strict.
