Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures – reliability and safety
This blue HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable with a cross-section of 16 mm² combines flexibility, durability and safety. Designed for demanding applications, it provides reliable connections in electrical installations where resistance to extreme temperatures and minimizing the risk of fire are crucial. This cable is particularly recommended for use in wiring lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines, as well as in machine and installation construction.
### Construction and properties for professionals
The cable is characterized by a construction based on a multi-strand, flexible class 5 core, which facilitates assembly and ensures good flexibility. The insulation made of electron-beam cross-linked polyolefin copolymer guarantees high resistance to mechanical, chemical and thermal damage. Importantly, the cable is halogen-free – in the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases and fumes, which increases the safety of users and facilitates evacuation. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V or 450/750 V (depending on the laying conditions), and the outer diameter is approximately 7.6 mm.
### Applications and benefits for everyone
This cable is an ideal solution for both installers and end users. Its wide range of operating temperatures (flexibly from -35°C to +120°C, stationary from -55°C to +145°C) allows it to be used in various environmental conditions. Resistance to UV and ozone radiation ensures that the cable retains its properties even outdoors. Thanks to reduced fire propagation and the absence of corrosive gases released during combustion, the cable meets high fire safety standards. Additionally, its resistance to oils and atmospheric conditions ensures long-term reliability in harsh operating conditions. The use of electronic crosslinking increases the insulation's resistance to soldering temperatures – up to 380°C.
