Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures
This red HELUTHERM® 145 cable with a cross-section of 16 mm² is a flexible and reliable solution for a wide range of electrical applications. Made of tinned copper and insulated with a polyolefin copolymer, it is characterized by high temperature resistance, weather conditions and UV radiation. The cable is designed with safety in mind – it does not spread flames and does not release toxic gases during a fire, which is crucial in building and industrial installations.
### Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable stands out with its advanced construction. The copper core, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228, ensures excellent conductivity. The insulation made of cross-linked polyolefin copolymer guarantees high resistance to mechanical damage, abrasion and the action of oils. Electronic crosslinking of the insulation increases its thermal resistance – even in contact with a soldering iron up to 380°C. In addition, the cable is halogen-free, which minimizes the risk of toxic fumes in the event of a fire.

The cable meets the requirements of standards: DIN VDE 0482-332-3-22, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-22, IEC 60332-3-22 and DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-2 / IEC 60754-2 concerning low flammability and the absence of toxic gas emissions during combustion. It also has the approval of Germanischer Lloyd. The rated voltage is 300/500 V or 450/750 V (when laid in protective conduits), and the outer diameter is approximately 7.6 mm.
