Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 145 1x2.5 mm² black 51337
Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperature
This black HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a reliable solution for applications requiring high thermal resistance and fire safety. The cable is designed for a wide range of installations, both in construction and industry.
The use of a cross-linked polyolefin copolymer insulation technology ensures exceptional flexibility and durability. The cable is also halogen-free, meaning it does not release toxic gases and fumes in the event of a fire, increasing evacuation safety. This is particularly important in public places, public buildings, and anywhere health and life safety are paramount.
Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable has multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), which provides good flexibility and ease of installation. The insulation is abrasion and oil resistant, guaranteeing long-term operation even in harsh conditions. The rated voltage of the cable is 500 V, and the maximum working voltage when laid in protective conduits can reach 1000 V (AC) or 750 V (DC). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3.7 mm.
- Halogen-free: Ensures safety during a fire by eliminating the emission of toxic gases.
- High temperature resistance: Allows operation in a temperature range from -55°C to +145°C (stationary) and from -35°C to +120°C (flexible).
- Flexibility: Multi-wire conductor construction makes it easy to lay and connect the cable.
- Chemical resistance: The insulation is resistant to the action of oils and other chemicals.
- Universal application: Ideal for wiring lighting fixtures, heating devices, electric machines, and building installations.
Applications and standards
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electric machines (temperature class B), switchboards, and in the construction of machines and concealed, surface and embedded installations. It can also be used in rail vehicles (DC voltage up to 900V). It meets the safety requirements for low voltages (2014/35/EU) and has the approval of Germanischer Lloyd. Thanks to its properties, it is the ideal choice for installers looking for a reliable and safe solution for demanding applications.
