Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 145 1x2.5 mm² orange 51345
Safety and reliability in one cable
This orange, single-core HELUTHERM® 145 cable is a solution for installations where safety and resistance to harsh conditions are key. The cable is designed for applications requiring high temperature and minimizing fire risk. Its construction based on electron-crosslinked polyolefin copolymer ensures not only flexibility but also exceptional durability and resistance to mechanical damage.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a copper core, which is oxygen-free and tinned – this ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. Insulation made of halogen-free, electron-crosslinked polyolefin copolymer guarantees high safety of use. In the event of a fire, the absence of toxic gas and smoke emissions significantly increases the chances of safe evacuation. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone and cadmium-free, making it environmentally friendly. The cable has a class 5 core – flexible stranded, which facilitates installation and adaptation to various applications.
Applications and benefits
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable finds application in a wide range of electrical installations:
- Wiring of lighting fixtures: high temperature resistance allows for safe use near heat sources.
- Heating appliances: ideal for connecting devices generating heat, such as furnaces, heaters or dryers.
- Electrical machines (thermal class B): provides reliable connections in machines operating at elevated temperatures.
- Electrical distribution boards: safe and durable cable for making internal connections in distribution boards.
- Surface, on and in-wall installations: universal application in various types of electrical installations.
- Railway vehicles: possible to use with DC voltage up to 900V (when used in railway vehicles).
Thanks to its properties, this cable is particularly recommended for applications requiring a high level of fire safety and reliability in difficult working conditions. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V or 450/750 V (depending on the cross-section), which ensures a wide range of applications. The core cross-section is 2.5 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 3.7 mm.
