Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures

This red single-core HELUTHERM® 145 cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² combines safety and reliability. Made of multi-strand, flexible copper wire, coated with halogen-free insulation, it ensures safe operation even in extreme conditions. The cable is characterized by high temperature resistance and does not spread fire, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring increased safety standards.

Construction and application

This cable is designed for a wide range of applications – from wiring lighting fixtures and heating devices, to electrical machines and switchboards. It will work well in both concealed, surface and in-duct installations. Thanks to its flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage, it is easy to install and provides long-term reliability. The possibility of use in conduit systems at voltages up to 1000V AC or 750V DC further increases its versatility. In rail vehicles, it can operate at a DC voltage of up to 900V.

Safety and properties

A key feature of the HELUTHERM® 145 cable is its halogen-free construction. In the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases and fumes, which significantly increases the safety of users and facilitates evacuation. Additionally, high temperature resistance (up to +145°C for fixed installations and +120°C during bending) allows it to be used in places exposed to high temperatures. Electron-beam crosslinked polyolefin insulation provides excellent dielectric properties as well as resistance to abrasion and cuts. The cable is also resistant to UV radiation and ozone, guaranteeing its durability even in harsh environmental conditions. Tinned copper ensures good conductivity and corrosion resistance.
