Special application halogen-free cables

This single-core HELUTHERM® 145 cable, with a cross-section of 4 mm² and blue color, is designed for demanding applications where high temperature resistance and fire safety are crucial. Its construction based on copper conductors and cross-linked copolymer insulation ensures reliable operation in harsh conditions. This cable is particularly recommended for installation in places exposed to elevated temperatures, such as lighting fixtures, heating devices, or electrical machines.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible construction with a multi-strand copper conductor (class 5), which facilitates installation and adaptation to various installation systems. The cross-linked copolymer insulation provides high resistance to mechanical damage, abrasion, and the action of oils and chemicals. Importantly, the materials used in production are cadmium-free, silicone-free, and free of substances harmful to paints. The cable meets standards for low smoke emission and the absence of halogen in the event of a fire (according to EN 50267-2-2), which significantly increases user safety. The rated operating voltage is 500 V, and the maximum is 750 V.

Its temperature resistance (up to +145°C for fixed installations) allows it to be used in demanding working conditions and potentially reduces the cable cross-section in some applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.5 mm.
