Single-core halogen-free cable for special applications

This black, single-core HELUTHERM® 145 cable with a cross-section of 6 mm² is designed for demanding applications where high temperature resistance and fire safety are crucial. Made of tinned copper with cross-linked polyethylene insulation, it ensures reliable operation in harsh conditions. This cable is used in both industrial installations and residential and commercial construction.

Construction and properties

The cable features a flexible construction with a multi-strand core (class 5), making it easy to install and route. The cross-linking technology used in the insulation provides high temperature resistance – up to +145°C for fixed installation and up to +120°C during flexible operation. Importantly, the materials used in production are halogen-free, meaning they do not release toxic gases and fumes in the event of a fire, increasing evacuation safety. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils, UV radiation, and ozone.

The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V or 450/750 V depending on the core cross-section. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.2 mm.
