Single-core halogen-free high-temperature resistant cable

This red HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable with a cross-section of 6 mm² is designed for demanding applications where temperature resistance and fire safety are critical. Made of tinned copper with a cross-linked polyolefin copolymer insulation, it provides reliable operation in various conditions. The cable is flexible due to its multi-wire strand construction (class 5), making installation and routing easier.

Construction and application

This cable is widely used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines (thermal class B), distribution boards, and in the construction of machines and concealed, semi-concealed and surface-mounted installations. The possibility of using it in conduit increases its versatility – with such a layout, voltages up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC are permissible. In rail vehicles, it can operate at a DC voltage of up to 900V. Its halogen-free construction is particularly important, minimizing the risk of toxic gas release in the event of a fire, ensuring safe evacuation. High temperature resistance allows for potential reduction of the cable cross-section under certain conditions, optimizing installation costs.
