Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 145 1x95 mm² black 51490
Product Features
- High thermal resistance single-core cable for demanding applications.
This halogen-free, single-core HELUTHERM® 145 cable with a cross-section of 95 mm² is designed to operate in harsh conditions where standard cables fail. It features high temperature resistance and ensures safety in the event of a fire, without releasing toxic gases. It is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users looking for reliable and safe wiring.
Construction and Properties
The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), providing flexibility and ease of installation. The cross-linked polyolefin copolymer insulation guarantees high temperature resistance – up to +145°C for stationary operation and +120°C for flexible operation. Additionally, the cable meets standards for low flammability and halogen-free properties, increasing safety in buildings and industrial installations. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 17 mm, and its weight is about 1 kg per meter.
Applications and Benefits
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable has a wide range of applications in various industries:
Lighting fixture wiring: Safety and reliability in areas exposed to high temperatures.
Heating appliances: Resistance to the high temperatures generated by heating devices.
Electrical machines (thermal class B): Providing stable power supply to machines operating in difficult thermal conditions.
Distribution boards: Safe cable routing inside electrical distribution boards.
Surface, concealed and duct installations: Versatile use in various types of electrical installations.
Rail vehicles: Possible use with DC voltage up to 900V (in rail vehicles).
It is worth emphasizing that, thanks to its properties, this cable minimizes the risk of fire spreading and facilitates evacuation in the event of a fire – it does not release toxic gases or fumes. Additionally, high temperature resistance may allow the use of cables with smaller cross-sections, which translates into cost savings. The cable has a Germanischer Lloyd certificate confirming its quality and compliance with safety standards. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V or 450/750 V (depending on the cable diameter).
