BiSolar double flexible hose DN16 (25 m) 80.43.48
Professional connections in solar systems
The BiSolar DN16 double flexible hose is a specialized solution for direct connections between the main elements of solar installations. The system consists of two AISI 316L stainless steel pipes, which are thermally insulated and protected by a common PVC sheath. Additionally, it includes an integrated cable for connecting the solar collector temperature sensor.
The design enables connections of solar collectors with a surface area of up to 10.3 m² to storage tanks, heat exchangers, pump groups, and diaphragm expansion vessels. The flexible nature of the hose significantly simplifies the installation process, allowing for easy adaptation to various installation conditions.
Operating parameters and safety
The system operates at a maximum pressure of 16 bar and a temperature reaching 120°C, ensuring full operational safety in typical solar installations. An internal diameter of 16.6 mm with an external diameter of 21.4 mm guarantees optimal solar fluid flow while maintaining compact dimensions.
The thermal insulation, made of soft polyester foam with a thickness of 13 mm, has a thermal conductivity of λ = 0.040 W/m/K. This parameter effectively limits heat loss during medium transport between the collectors and the storage tank, resulting in higher efficiency of the entire solar system.
Application and compatibility
The hose is available in 25 meter sections, allowing for optimal length adjustment to typical solar installations.
For correct installation, it is required to separately purchase appropriate nuts, reducers, or connectors, as well as heat-shrink sleeves to secure the thermal insulation ends (DN16 - RC 38/19 for each end). This modularity allows installers to precisely adapt the components to the specifics of a particular installation.
Integrating two pipes and the temperature sensor cable into a single protective sheath significantly improves installer comfort and shortens installation time when connecting solar collectors to other elements of the heating system.
Materials and structural durability
High-grade AISI 316L stainless steel provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-term operation even in difficult environmental conditions. This material is characterized by high resistance to atmospheric factors and stability of parameters across a wide temperature range.
The PVC protective sheath has been specifically selected for resistance to ultraviolet radiation and mechanical damage. This feature is particularly important for installations located on roofs or in other places exposed to direct atmospheric conditions throughout the entire operating life of the solar system.
