The BiSolar DN20 double flexible hose is a key element of solar systems, enabling direct connections between solar collectors and other installation components. The product has been specifically designed for the requirements of the solar industry, where reliability and efficiency of heating medium transport are of fundamental importance to the entire system.
The construction is based on two parallel flexible hoses made of 316L stainless steel, which have been integrated into a single protective jacket with an additional conductor for connecting a temperature sensor. This architecture eliminates the need for separate cables, which significantly simplifies the installation process and reduces the risk of assembly errors.
High-quality construction and materials
The core of the hose is made of 316L stainless steel, which is characterized by exceptional resistance to corrosion and the action of solar fluids. This material maintains its mechanical and chemical properties across a wide range of temperatures typical for solar installations.
Each of the hoses features PES EP thermal insulation with a thickness of 13mm, which effectively minimizes heat loss during the transport of the heating medium. The use of expanded polyethylene (PES EP) guarantees not only excellent thermal insulation properties but also resistance to moisture and aging processes related to UV radiation exposure.
A common PVC sheath protects the entire assembly from mechanical damage and the influence of atmospheric factors. Additionally, the integrated temperature sensor cable enables precise monitoring of solar collector operation without the need for additional cabling.
Application in solar systems
The BiSolar DN20 double flexible hose is intended for solar installations with a collector area of up to 16.5 m², making it a suitable solution for medium and large solar systems installed in residential and commercial buildings.
The product is available in 25 meter sections, allowing for optimal length adjustment to typical installation configurations without the need to join multiple segments. This length minimizes the number of connections, thereby reducing the risk of leaks and hydraulic losses.
The system is used for the direct connection of solar collectors to a storage tank or heat exchanger, a pump group, and an expansion vessel with a diaphragm. The flexibility of the design allows for routing conduits in hard-to-reach places and overcoming architectural obstacles without the need for additional fittings.
Good thermal insulation contributes to maintaining the high efficiency of the entire solar system by minimizing energy losses during the heating medium transport stage. This translates directly into better solar energy utilization and lower installation operating costs.
Please remember that appropriate nuts, reducers, or connectors, as well as RC51/25,5 + RC 31,8/15,9 heat-shrink sleeves, must be purchased separately to secure the thermal insulation ends at each end of the hose.
