EKO-LAN modem 74.02.04
Modern communication modem for heating and solar systems
The EKO-LAN modem is an advanced transceiver device enabling two-way information exchange between one or several devices simultaneously and the data exchange server. It is a key element of modern heating, solar, and heat pump installations, providing full control over the system via the Internet.
Remote monitoring and control functionalities
The device offers a comprehensive set of functions enabling remote viewing of current operating parameters of the monitored device and the entire system in real time. The user can remotely operate the device by changing operating parameters, eliminating the need for physical presence at the installation.
The system provides 24-hour data archiving for each day of device and system operation, creating a detailed history of performance. Based on the collected information, statistics are generated from the reading of operating parameters, allowing for performance analysis and optimization of the entire installation.
In the event of emergency situations, the modem sends messages in the form of e-mail and SMS, available as part of the EKONTROL PREMIUM service. This functionality ensures immediate information about problems, enabling a quick service response.
Technical parameters and operating conditions
The modem is powered by 12V DC or 5V DC voltage, consuming less than 3W of energy, making it an economically advantageous solution for long-term operation. Compact dimensions of 60×90×30 mm allow for easy installation even in limited space.
The device operates in a wide temperature range from -20°C to +60°C, with a relative humidity from 5% to 85% without condensation or icing. The IP20 protection rating ensures safe operation in indoor conditions.
Compatibility and system integration
The EKO-LAN modem works with G422, GH26, and G426 controllers, enabling full integration with the EKONTROL system available at ekontrol.pl. The connection can be established via an RS485 communication cable or wirelessly using the G931 radio module.
In the OPTI-ENER system, the modem is a standard component - it is connected to the OPTI-ENER module via an RS485 cable, and for larger distances, the use of the G931 radio module is possible.
The device allows for the connection of any number of devices to a single EKO-LAN modem, which simplifies the architecture of the entire control system and reduces installation costs in large multi-device installations.
